Q: How much does it cost to play?

A: We ask a minimum donation of $50 per individual or $500 per team. Kids wiffleball players are asked to make a donation of $5 to cover the amount of one toy for another child in need for our Holiday Cheer Program.

Q: Where does my donation go?

A: Depending on which team you register to play for, your funds will go toward our Holiday Cheer Program, The Giving Doll, Anthony's Angels, or Donate Life. Additional recipients may be added if more teams register.

Q: What do I get for participating?

A: Adult players who register by September 1st will receive an event t-shirt. We'll also provide a lunch to all players and attendees. Kona Ice will be at the event as well but must be purchased separately by attendees. Most importantly, you'll have a fun and memorable day and will help make a difference in your community.

Q: I haven't played in years...what if I look bad?

A: Anyone who has participated in our softball events knows that we don't have scouts in attendance. Our events are always inclusive and open to anyone regardless of skill level - the goal is to have fun and raise money for great causes!

Q: I don't have a full team but want to play on the same team as someone else, is that possible?

A: Absolutely! Just let us know on your registration or send a message to our Facebook page and we'll make it happen.

Q: How old do kids need to be to play in the wiffleball game?

A: We recommend ages 5-12, but we'll be happy to let any child that wants to participate at least take a few swings. Our goal is to bring our community together and teach our younger generations the power of giving back.

Q: What is the schedule/format?

A: The schedule and tournament format will be released soon after registration closes on September 1st. Rules can be found here on our site.

Q: What precautions are in place due to COVID-19?

A: Garton Family Charity will follow all recommendations from the Ohio Health Department. We ask that participants bring your own equipment if possible (team bats may be available). Sanitization stations will also be available. If you or your child is experiencing any symptoms on the day of the event, please stay home.

Q: Sounds great, how do I register?

A: Adults and kids can both be registered here. Full teams can also be registered at the same link.

Q: My question wasn't answered here...

A: No problem! Please feel free to message us on any of our social media pages or email GFC President Steve Garton at sgarton@gmail.com.
